What year did you go?: 2009 Who was the Scholar/Shaikh/Imam of your Group?: Zameer Pros (postive comments)(if you comment on the hotel please mention the name): None. Cons (negative comments)(if you comment on the hotel please mention the name): My family and I were fooled by their fancy website and tons of "favorable comments". If we were to go again, I will never choose Sara International. The company is an organizational disaster. Mr. Zameer specialized in deception. We were on VIP-Package and were cramed in a tent with 400 other people in Mina (despite Zameer's promises to give smaller tents, for which he conveniently charged us extra $2000-3000 per head). Mecca stay was cut by 2 days. We were dumped in a "rest house in Azziziah", which was promissed to be a "walking distance to Haram", but in reality was 5-6 miles from Haram which means about 4-5 hrs bus ride each way. He only had 7-8 buses for well over 500 hujjaj and you can imagine what used to happen waiting for a bus or trying to get a seat... No orginazational structure, Zameer is every thing... no one bearing "sara badge" knows any thing or is authorized to tell any thing and standard answer to each question, "check with Zameer". There are paid people whose full time job is to write positive comments for Sara. May Allah give Zameer guidance so he may stop deceiving Hujjaj. Amen. Would you recommend it?:

What year did you go?: 2009 Who was the Scholar/Shaikh/Imam of your Group?: Zameer Sattaur Pros (postive comments)(if you comment on the hotel please mention the name): Going on hajj, alhamdulillah. Madinah Cons (negative comments)(if you comment on the hotel please mention the name): I have nothing to add to the discussions about Hajj 2009 that isn't reflected in my rating and the previous reviews. For the most peaceful/spiritual hajj experience you have two options (1) for better organization, then go with Dar El Salam; (2) for a more spiritual experience, then go with your local Imam's group (especially in the D.C. area, where you have Fifth Pillar group: thefifthpillar.com). I recommend going on hajj, just go with another group if you have that as an option. Even if the other group doesn't appear as organized, insha allah it will be a less frustrating experience. Alhamdulillah, I'm 100% happy I went on hajj, and allahu a'lam what would have happened if I didn't register when I did, so please don't use this review as an excuse not to register for hajj, just take it as a piece of advice. I am including rating categories (the first rating is the one that has caused a lot of angst among the 2009 hujjaj): 9. To what extent did the company fulfill the promises of the package you purchased? 1 - poor 10. To what degree do you consider the quality of the package worth the price? 3 - average 11. How do you rate the company's services at the airport? 3 - average 12. How do you rate your company's services at the hotel in Madinah? 3 - average 13. How do you rate your company's services at the hotel in Makkah? 3 - below average (Al Safwah Royale Tower) 14. How do you rate your company's services at Minah? 2 - below average 15. How do you rate your company's services at Arafah? 3- average 16. How do you rate your company's services at Muzdalifah? 1 - poor 17. To what extent did your company help educate you on the rituals of hajj? 3 - average (good prior to hajj . . .) 18. How do you rate the services of transition between rituals? (ie. from muzdalifa to minah) 2- below average (even considering what average is for a US group . . .) 19. How would you rate the overall services of the company? 1 - poor 20. Steps from Khana Kaabah, alot of food. Mina was good. hajj was excellent, i will do it again, insha allah, and definately go wit sara because they were professional, and very informative, even prior to hajj alot of information at the seminar. best hajj group for a good hajj. dont listen to people bad reviews, do your self a favor and call and inquire and verify. alot of people come here to slander and character assassin the brother when they were all smiley infront of him. but my advise is to contact sara and here from them and dont listen to the only person leaving negative comment on here. it's the same person and brother dont spoil ur hajj. Would you recommend it?:

What year did you go?: 2009 Who was the Scholar/Shaikh/Imam of your Group?: Not Known Pros (postive comments)(if you comment on the hotel please mention the name): Madina Cons (negative comments)(if you comment on the hotel please mention the name): I will say that Please save the hajj & do not use Sara International. The reason I am saying this is because I was fooled by reading the reviews on the Hajj sites last Year...I am informing the future Hajis about the disorganization in Sara International Travel. No Buses for Mina stay. All the 600 people were cramped in small tents togather regardless of the package. The nomber of days promised in 5 star hotel in Makkah were not provided. Please Do not use Sara International... & Save your Hajj... I am trying to put the right information out there.... which I did not get wnen I planned my Hajj with Sara... Would you recommend it?:
