Rating Advice

**IMPORTANT: Read Before Rating a Hajj/Umrah Group or Hotel:**

1. Rate Hajj/Umrah Groups and Hotels based on what they promised vs what they delivered. Many people may unintentionaly rate the group based on how easy or how difficult the Hajj was. For example, if a group does not promise to provide transportation from Mina to Makkah, they should not be negatively rated if the walk from Mina to Makkah was difficult. etc. Rate based on what the group promised.

2. Do not negatively rate Hajj/Umrah Groups for which they have no control. For example delays due to traffic conditions, flight delays, etc.

3. Avoid using names of individual people.

4. When looking at the ratings and reviews, look at the holistic rating.

Pros (postive comments)(if you comment on the hotel please mention the name): None
Cons (negative comments)(if you comment on the hotel please mention the name): The organisation and transport was very poor. Despit paying for the deluxe (5 star) package we recieved 2 star treatment. Transport used is the local Sudi transport, no private coaches or anything of the sort. Food was promised but not delivered. Whatever you do, don't go with this group.

Hajj & Umrah Group Review
Was this a Hajj or Umrah?: Hajj
What year did you go?: n/a
Who was the Scholar/Shaikh/Imam of your Group?: n/a
Cons (negative comments)(if you comment on the hotel please mention the name): Zam Zam Tower: Absolutely amazing hotel, especially if you get a suite (which was organised by ourselves).

However our tour operator - Abu Hafsah Foundation was beyond rubbish will NEVER go with them again.
We had to buy and organise everthing ourselves even though we paid the group leader for a 5* package of over £3400, never got any money back.

Hajj & Umrah Group Review
Was this a Hajj or Umrah?: Hajj
What year did you go?: 2007
Who was the Scholar/Shaikh/Imam of your Group?: Muhammed Seedat of AHF
Pros (postive comments)(if you comment on the hotel please mention the name): Came home in one piece!
Cons (negative comments)(if you comment on the hotel please mention the name): Organisation and professionalism were a joke.
DID NOT provide;
transport,
food,
VIP tents as promised'
very very expensive for what we were given,
left on the streets during the five days of Haj,
No islamic leadership or guidance,
No promises were delivered,
NOBODY was happy in his group (not even his family).

The positive review is very suspect.
Don't go with this group regardless of any promises from M Seedat as we learnt first hand.
